COVID-19 vaccines aimed for many more recent viral variants reported by the Food and Drug Administration on Monday. This action has been expected this summer when any advisory committees are recommending this move.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently released data showing that this July there seems to be rising cases of COVID-19. There are cases of death almost 17% and 16% of patients are in the hospital.
The medical community still debates about the booster dose. it is not doing its work properly. Many people are not taking care of their mental and physical health. Not only that but also they are eating unhealthy foods that lead to bad immune systems.
For those people who are not taking care of their health and live an unhealthy lifestyle, they should get boosted up at least once a year.
The COVAT group’s chairman and former FDA chief scientist said,
Older People and people with chronic diseases should clearly get revaccinated. I’m still seeing older and immunocompromised people get severe disease. Much less than before, which is wonderful, but … for people who need it, it has definite value.
Dr. Jesse Goodman pointed out that the virus that causes COVID-19 but has not mutated like the influenza virus. Influenza virus spreads so much flu annually that not only unhealthy people but also healthy and fit people retain some protection.
