A citizen of the United States has been accused of instigating the kidnapping of his son who is just 4 years old. He planned on illegally crossing Russia’s border along with his son. This incident was claimed by the prosecutors of the Kaliningrad region of Russia.
The man is 35 years old (not named till now) and claimed he wanted to
“live with his son outside of Russia, without obtaining the consent of the baby’s mother” –
as was said in a statement by the Investigative Committee Dept. of Russia.
Afterward, a criminal case was launched against the man, who had arrived in the region of Kaliningrad on the 27th of July to meet up with his son. No charges have been filed yet as of now. There are no further details that were made about the man in the statement. The situation is also very unclear as of now – on whether he got detained yet.
The Judge/Investigators concluded that there wasn’t enough evidence and that the case was going to be dropped.
