A crisis warning has been issued by Apple to update to iOS 16.6.1 or iPadOS 16.6.1. The update includes proper security exposures that are stated by Apple that can be operated to strike iPhones or iPads.
The Apple company stated on Thursday that
“Processing a maliciously crafted image may lead to arbitrary code execution.”
also added by saying
“Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited.”
The warning has been given which means that the hackers may have already started affecting the security vulnerabilities. Two vulnerabilities are listed among which one in the ImageIO framework, reading and writing the most image files format is allowed.
It also allows access to the metadata of an image and the rest in the Wallet. WatchOS 9.6.2 to address the vulnerability has been released by Apple and it also exists in the Wallet bug.
